Candidates can register for university admission from July 18 and will know their admission scores about a month later, according to the Ministry of Education and Training.
On April 15, the Ministry of Education and Training issued a plan for university and college enrollment in preschool education, which specifically stated the admission milestones.
Accordingly, candidates can register their admission wishes from July 18 and can adjust their wishes, an unlimited number of times, until 5:00 p.m. on July 30.
From July 31 to 5:00 p.m. August 6, candidates pay admission fees online.
No later than July 21, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality (floor score) for health and education sectors, then process candidates' admission requests from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17.
Before 5pm on August 19, schools must announce the benchmark scores and notify the first round of admission candidates, 3 days earlier than last year. By 5pm on August 27, candidates must complete online admission confirmation.

The 2024 high school graduation exam will take place on June 27-28, with exam results announced on July 17, one day earlier than last year.
Candidates will take the Math and Literature exams on June 27. On June 28, they will take a Foreign Language exam and a combined exam in Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) or Social Sciences (History, Geography, Civic Education for general education; or History, Geography for continuing education).
The Ministry will announce the 2024 high school graduation exam scores from 8:00 a.m. on July 17. The latest time to consider recognizing high school graduation for students is July 19.
In 2023, about one million candidates will take the high school graduation exam. The graduation rate reached 98.88%, the highest since 2015.
Of these, more than 546,000 candidates passed the university entrance exam. Compared to the total target of more than 660,000, the admission rate reached more than 82%.
