Chi Linh needs to prepare response plans for all incidents caused by floods.

Inspecting some key dyke locations in the wards of Van An, Co Thanh, Pha Lai and Nhan Hue commune (Chi Linh city), Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested the city not to be subjective or negligent in the face of complicated developments of floods on Thai Binh and Kinh Thay rivers. The Provincial Party Secretary requested the locality to continue to closely monitor the flood situation and prepare means and forces to respond to unusual incidents.

Authorities closely coordinate with localities to monitor and forecast the resilience of dikes when water levels on rivers continue to rise; strengthen and reinforce weak dike sections, and improve the capacity to respond to complex storms and floods.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested Chi Linh City to be on duty 24/7, closely monitor vulnerable areas, prepare forces and means to support and evacuate people, property and livestock to safe places.
