Inspecting the damage recovery work caused by storm in Tu Ky, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested all levels and sectors to be resolute, urgent, and make the highest efforts to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3.
On the morning of September 9, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee inspected the work of overcoming the damage caused by storm No. 3. Accompanying him were leaders of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and a number of relevant agencies and units.
Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang requested Tu Ky district and other agencies, units and localities in the province to resolutely, urgently and make the highest efforts to overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3. The electricity sector must prioritize supplying electricity to anti-flooding pumping stations. Pumping stations must operate effectively to prevent flooding and reasonably divide pumping and drainage areas. In case of incidents, they must be promptly reported for timely handling and resolution.
Sharing with teachers and encouraging the forces supporting the damage recovery at Cong Lac Primary School, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized that schools will only welcome students back when safety is ensured. Local authorities will accompany and support schools in reviewing and assessing the safety of facilities, striving to complete the repair by September 9.
For agricultural production areas affected by storm No. 3, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and localities to proactively and actively guide farmers to overcome the damage and stabilize production soon. In the long term, production areas that may be at high risk need to be calculated and have appropriate development orientations.
