Cam Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach and Kim Thanh strive to achieve advanced new rural standards by 2025

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just requested departments, branches and localities to speed up the implementation of the National Target Program on New Rural Construction.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that departments and branches that have not yet issued guidelines for implementing indicators and criteria in building advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas urgently issue them so that localities have a basis for implementation. Currently, only 11 departments and branches have issued guidelines.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of communes meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas before 2021 to review and implement to fully meet the standards according to the requirements of the set of criteria for new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas in the period of 2021-2025. After fully meeting the requirements, it is necessary to base on the actual conditions of the locality to continue to strive to build advanced new rural communes; advanced new rural communes continue to strive to build model new rural communes; model new rural communes continue to strive to build smart new rural commune models.

Districts that meet the new rural standards before 2021 need to fully meet the conditions and standards required by the National Criteria for New Rural Districts for the 2021-2025 period. After basing on the actual conditions of the locality, continue to strive to build advanced new rural districts.

Particularly for Cam Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach, and Kim Thanh districts, focus on directing and striving to build districts that meet advanced new rural standards by 2025. Other localities, based on the regulations of the set of criteria for advanced new rural districts in the period 2021-2025 and the actual conditions of the locality, propose a roadmap to build districts that meet advanced new rural standards accordingly.

Hai Duong currently has 64 communes recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards and 9 communes as meeting model new rural standards. Compared to the set goals, the progress of implementing advanced new rural construction and model new rural construction in the 2021-2025 period in the province is still slow.
