Hai Duong strives to have at least 3 localities complete the criteria for advanced new rural districts this year.

In addition, the 2024 new rural construction plan of Hai Duong province also aims to maintain and improve the quality of criteria to ensure that 100% of communes meeting the standards of new rural areas, advanced new rural areas, and model new rural areas in the 2010-2020 period basically meet the requirements of the set of criteria for the 2021-2025 period. The province strives to have 35 more communes meeting the standards of advanced new rural areas and 23 communes meeting the standards of model new rural areas. Districts continue to maintain and improve quality to meet the criteria of new rural areas in the 2021-2025 period. Cities and towns ensure the completion of the task of building new rural areas.

To achieve the above goal, the Provincial People's Committee has developed 10 contents of the program, focusing on the areas of planning, infrastructure for development, agricultural sector structure, improving the efficiency of cultural institutions, waste treatment, etc. The province has proposed 5 key solutions to implement the new rural construction program in 2024. These are to promote propaganda, perfect support mechanisms, coordinate the effective implementation of the program's contents, strengthen resource mobilization, and promote inspection and supervision.
