Communes in Kim Thanh invest more than 95 billion VND to build school facilities

According to the public investment plan of localities in Kim Thanh district, in 2025, communes and towns in the district will start building 46 classrooms and subject rooms, 5 multi-purpose houses, 2 semi-boarding kitchens and a number of other works to serve the learning and teaching activities of schools. The total estimated cost is more than 95 billion VND (including local, district and provincial budget support).

Currently, localities in the district are building 56 classrooms and subject rooms, 3 multi-purpose buildings, 2 administrative buildings and a number of other projects. The total cost is more than 106 billion VND. These are projects transferred from 2024.

Up to now, the rate of solid classrooms at kindergarten, primary and secondary schools in Kim Thanh has reached 98.85%. Kim Thanh is currently one of the localities with the highest rate of solid classrooms at all three levels in the province.

In 2024, the district will have 5 new standard schools, raising the rate of schools meeting national standards in the whole district to 94.82%; there will be 26 schools meeting level 2 standards (reaching a rate of 44.82%).
