On the morning of February 3, leaders of Hai Duong province offered flowers and incense at the memorial house where the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee was established in Dau Ben village, Hop Tien commune (Nam Sach).
Comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered flowers and incense at the stele house where the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee was established in Dau Ben village, Hop Tien commune (Nam Sach) on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
Also attending the ceremony were a number of members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of the province and Nam Sach district.
The leaders and delegates expressed their respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh - the founder of the Party, revolutionary predecessors, and heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and for the happiness of the people.
Nearly 85 years agoOn June 10, 1940, the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee was established at the house of Le Thi Thanh in Ta Xa (now Hop Tien Commune) with the provisional Provincial Party Committee consisting of 3 comrades: Nguyen Manh Hoan, Chu Thi Kim Son and Nguyen Tan Phuc. The establishment of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee marked a new step of maturity and development of the revolutionary movement in Hai Duong.
Provincial leaders and delegates also offered incense at Dinh Dau, Dau Ben village, and Hop Tien commune. This is where the Ta Xa Self-Defense Team was established. In August 1940, the Ta Xa Party Cell held a conference at Dinh Dau, attended by Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Manh Hoan. The conference agreed to establish the Ta Xa Self-Defense Combat Team consisting of more than 40 comrades to protect the Party agency, led by comrade Le Van Dan.
In 1941 and 1942, the French colonialists and their henchmen terrorized the revolutionary movement, plotting to eliminate the Party base, but the Ta Xa base was still maintained. On August 22, 1945, under the leadership of the Party, the Ta Xa Self-Defense Combat Team and a large number of revolutionary masses held a massive rally at Dau communal house yard, declaring the dissolution of the Ta Xa feudal colonial government apparatus; establishing the Provisional Revolutionary Committee, the headquarters of the revolutionary government was located at Dau communal house.
On the same morning, comrade Nguyen Quang Phuc, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, along with leaders and officials of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Chi Linh City Party Committee and Hoang Tan Ward offered incense and flowers at Do Xa Communal House, Hoang Tan Ward (Chi Linh City). This is where the first Party cell of the province was established.
In early March 1930, comrade Tran Cung, a member of the Communist Party of Vietnam operating in Chi Linh district (now Chi Linh city), directed the establishment of the first Party cell of Hai Duong province at Do Xa communal house. Do Xa cell included three comrades Nguyen Van Luu, Hoang Van Phuong, and Truong Dinh Kiem.
