Ministry of Education and Training recruits 1,000 scholarships to study in Russia

The Ministry of Education and Training announced the recruitment of 1,000 students to study under the agreement scholarship program in the Russian Federation in 2022 with many training levels: undergraduate, master's, doctoral and internship.

Training duration is from 3 months to 5 years, depending on the training program and one year of preparatory Russian language study.

The Russian Government Scholarship covers full tuition fees, monthly stipend and accommodation in a low-cost dormitory. The Vietnamese Government will subsidize round-trip airfare, travel expenses, passport and visa fees, health insurance and monthly living expenses as prescribed.

The general admission requirements are that candidates must have good political and moral qualities and be in good health to study abroad. Candidates must commit to completing the training program and returning to the country to serve at the sending agency or as required by the State. Those who do not complete the training program, drop out of school, are forced to drop out of school or do not return to the country after graduation, or do not fully fulfill their obligations as scholarship recipients must compensate for the training costs according to current regulations.

Candidates who do not know Russian can take a one-year preparatory course in Russian in the Russian Federation and must pass a qualifying exam organized by the host country before studying their major.

Candidates are grade 12 students, first-year students, people with university, master's and doctoral degrees. Candidates who have studied in the Russian Federation or studied Russian in Vietnam or have an international Russian language certificate will be given priority consideration.

Register your application online on the Russian Federation's electronic portal Education-in-russia.com; Vietnam's http://tuyensinh.vied.vn and submit two sets of paper documents in Russian by January 28, 2022.

Deadline for submitting Vietnamese paper documents is June 30, 2022 (based on the postmark of the application received at the Department of International Cooperation - Ministry of Education and Training).
