Hai Duong General Hospital deploys automatic medical examination registration kiosk

Since early October, Hai Duong General Hospital has deployed a kiosk for medical examination registration and automatic number issuance using chip-embedded citizen identification cards and facial recognition. This is the second medical facility in the province to apply digital transformation in this field, after Tu Ky District Medical Center.

With just a simple touch of the screen, patients can complete the medical examination registration procedure in less than 1 minute. In addition, the kiosk provides patients with a number of features such as medical information lookup, appointment scheduling, health education materials and a number of other services. At the same time, it helps medical staff increase work efficiency and minimize unnecessary errors. Since the beginning of the month, more than 100 patients have used the kiosk to register for medical examination and have received positive feedback.

The automatic medical examination registration kiosk using chip-embedded citizen identification cards is one of 16 models in the group of socio-economic development utilities under the Government's Project 06, based on the platform of deploying online public service provision, VNeID application and connected to the National Population Database to authenticate citizen information. Medical examination and treatment registration in this form is being widely applied at many medical facilities nationwide.

In addition to the automatic medical examination registration kiosk, Hai Duong General Hospital has completed and prepared to launch an application for automatic hospital fee payment via QR code.
