Expanding comprehensive cooperation with central hospitals

On March 6, 2024, Hai Duong General Hospital signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement with the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The memorandum of understanding on comprehensive cooperation covers 4 groups of contents. The focus is on providing medical examination and treatment services for patients coming to the hospital for examination and treatment; training and technology transfer related to the specialties of infectious diseases, biochemistry - microbiology, hematology and blood transfusion...

On April 16, the Provincial General Hospital continued to sign the minutes of receiving and transferring two of the most important techniques from the Central ENT Hospital: middle ear plastic surgery and audiometry.

On July 25, 2024, Hai Duong General Hospital received the technique of "endovascular thermal intervention (laser/RF) to treat chronic lower limb venous insufficiency" from the Central Geriatric Hospital. The time to perform a case of venous insufficiency treatment with this laser technique only lasts 40-50 minutes, and the patient is discharged the same day instead of 5-6 days as before.

Hai Duong General Hospital has signed comprehensive cooperation agreements with 3 central hospitals: Tropical Diseases, Viet Duc and ENT. In the near future, the hospital will continue to sign comprehensive cooperation agreements with 3 other central hospitals: Central Military Hospital 108, National Children's Hospital and Bach Mai.

Dozens of techniques transferred from central hospitals are being routinely performed by Hai Duong General Hospital, helping the hospital keep up with trends, gradually improving the quality of medical examination and treatment services, meeting the increasing needs of the people, and contributing to reducing the number of patients transferred to higher levels.

The first medical facility to implement online medical examination registration

Since November, the hospital has started implementing online medical examination registration. This is the first public medical facility in Hai Duong to implement this program. People register for medical examination online via phone number 1900.58.58.77, the hospital's website or Zalo account. This helps people save time waiting, limiting the overload situation at the medical facility.

Previously, in early October 2024, Hai Duong General Hospital deployed an automatic medical examination registration kiosk using chip-embedded citizen identification cards and an automatic QR code hospital fee payment application. With just a simple screen press, patients can complete the medical examination registration procedure in less than 1 minute.

The solution of paying hospital fees by QR code has shortened the time of queuing and waiting.
