On June 17, the Hanoi City Police Department of Security Investigation decided to prosecute, arrest and temporarily detain Ha Huy Dung, born in 1970, Head of the Compulsory Treatment Department of the Central Psychiatric Hospital I, to investigate the act of accepting bribes under Article 354 of the Penal Code.
The People's Procuracy at the same level has approved the above orders and decisions.
The initial investigation determined that Ha Huy Dung was the person responsible for treating and managing patients who were subject to compulsory medical treatment measures by the prosecution agencies.
While performing his duties, Ha Huy Dung took advantage of his position and authority, received money from families and patients requiring medical treatment to violate regulations on management and treatment of patients requiring medical treatment.
The case is currently under further investigation.
