Arrested 2 ward People's Committee chairmen and 4 officials in Hanoi for receiving bribes of nearly 1 billion VND

The Hanoi City Police Investigation Agency has just issued a decision to arrest 6 officials of the People's Committees of Thanh Tri and Hoang Liet wards and the Urban Construction Order Management Team (Hoang Mai District People's Committee) for accepting bribes.

A series of former provincial leaders were proposed for prosecution in the Phuc Son Group case.

The Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency has just completed the investigation conclusion of the case at Phuc Son Group, proposing to prosecute 41 defendants for crimes of violating the law.
Former Deputy Director Nguyen Loc An was prosecuted for receiving a bribe of 14.2 billion VND.

Mr. Nguyen Loc An, former Deputy Director of the Domestic Market Department, was accused of suggesting that two petroleum companies support more than 14 billion VND to buy a bigger house.
