To ensure that all children enjoy the Mid-Autumn Festival according to Vietnamese customs and traditions, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has requested provincial departments, branches, unions and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities in 2023 for children from September 18-29 (ie from August 4-15 of the lunar calendar). Strengthen communication to raise awareness, responsibility for protecting, caring for and educating children of the people, in which pay attention to praising children with high achievements in studying, physical training, brave actions, children in special circumstances, poor households with the spirit of overcoming difficulties, good people, good deeds that have helped children... Arrange funds from the state budget or mobilize resources of organizations and individuals to visit, give Mid-Autumn gifts, award scholarships to children, especially children in especially difficult circumstances, poor households, near-poor households, ethnic minority children, remote areas, children with disabilities, orphans, children affected by natural disasters, epidemics... Organize learning promotion activities in residential areas, healthy entertainment activities to attract children to participate, creating motivation for them to prepare well for the new school year.
Organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for children must ensure safety, focus on protecting children's health, especially food safety and hygiene, implement regulations on disease prevention, create a joyful atmosphere, promote children's creativity, and preserve national cultural identity. Strengthen inspection and supervision of food safety and hygiene at food production and trading establishments serving the Mid-Autumn Festival; prevent and promptly handle the trading of cultural products and toys that are violent, anti-educational, contain toxic substances, and are not suitable for children.
The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs coordinated to mobilize organizations and individuals to support the Children's Support Fund and give gifts to children. Coordinated with Hai Duong Provincial Youth Union and Chi Linh City People's Committee to organize a "Full Moon Festival Night" for children.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates to guide cultural, recreational and entertainment activities with diverse and rich forms; organizes swimming classes and teaches drowning prevention skills for children at public cultural and sports institutions in the community to attract children to participate in Mid-Autumn Festival activities and have safe and healthy recreation and entertainment.
The Department of Education and Training directs the implementation of Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children in primary and preschool schools, combined with learning promotion activities at the beginning of the new school year.
Relevant departments, branches and units proactively organize practical and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival activities for children of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the unit.
People's Committees of districts, towns and cities direct relevant agencies and People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to proactively arrange funds and mobilize organizations and individuals to plan to organize Mid-Autumn Festival activities and give gifts to children...
