Implementing the program "For the benefit of union members", the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with Huu Nghi Food Joint Stock Company to present 3,000 moon cakes to union members and workers affected by storms and floods with a total value of about 600 million VND. All of the above gifts were transferred to grassroots unions to deliver to union members and workers. In particular, the Industrial Park Union, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade, Hai Duong City, and Cam Giang have the most people affected by storms and floods.
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, many grassroots trade unions in the province also organized meaningful activities to take care of union members' families and workers in difficult circumstances and severely affected by storms and floods.
Previously, on September 15, the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation and the Brother Vietnam Industrial Company Limited Trade Union supported 18 million VND for the family of Ms. Diep Thi Nhat in Phan Thanh commune, Bao Lac district (Cao Bang).
Ms. Nhat is a worker at Brother Vietnam Industrial Co., Ltd. On September 8, Ms. Nhat took a bus from Cao Bang to Hai Duong to return to work. However, when she reached Nguyen Dinh district (Cao Bang), a landslide caused Ms. Nhat's death. Ms. Nhat's family situation is very difficult, her husband is unemployed, and her two young children are still in elementary school.
On September 14, the Kinh Mon Town Labor Federation supported 3 union members at the companies NamLee and May Mayfair with a total amount of 9 million VND. These union members are all in extremely difficult circumstances and have been severely affected by storms and floods.
