Apple may introduce a series of Mac computers running the new M3 processor chip on the 3nm process at the Scary Fast event.
Apple's Scary Fast Event Invitation
Apple has just sent out invitations to the media for its Scary Fast event, starting at 5pm on October 30 (7am on October 31, Hanoi time). The company's homepage shows the Apple logo transformed into a Finder icon, indicating that the event will focus on the launch of computer processors and new generations of Macs.
Like the events of the past two years, the Scary Fast presentation will be pre-recorded and broadcast on platforms such as Apple's website via Safari browser and YouTube. The "Apple" also invited the media to attend an offline event on the same day at the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California, but the number of participants was more limited than the iPhone 15 launch.
Many international technology sites assess that this event could bring many surprises because rumors about Mac computers have been very few recently. According toBloomberg,Inventory of the 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros and iMacs has begun to run low, suggesting the company is ready to introduce replacements. The upgraded 24-inch iMac is also a highly anticipated model.
The new generation of Mac computers is likely to run on the M3 processor chip manufactured on the 3nm process, which is faster and has stronger graphics. This may be the reason why the company implicitly emphasized the name of the event "scary fast" held on Halloween.
Apple typically launches new iPads in October, but according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming event will be an exception, focusing solely on Mac computers.
Previously, the Wonderlust event in September saw Apple announce the iPhone 15, updates to the Apple Watch, AirPods Pro with a USB-C charging case, and the company recently introduced a cheaper USB-C compatible version of the Apple Pencil.
