On the evening of December 23, Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited (Thanh Ha) organized "Solidarity Day".
The evening atmosphere was warm and vibrant with many meaningful activities. The company spent more than 2 billion VND for workers to draw lots with many practical gifts. Thousands of valuable prizes were awarded to workers including: 10 special prizes of electric cars; 28 first prizes of induction cookers; 45 second prizes of water purifiers; 303 third prizes of bicycles; 449 fourth prizes of pressure cookers; 750 fifth prizes of rice cooking sets; 903 consolation prizes of thermal lunch boxes.
Unlike previous years, this year's lucky draw was done electronically. The program attracted a large number of workers to attend and wait for the lucky number.
Along with the lucky draw program was an art competition. All workshops spent time and effort practicing to have a good performance on stage. The Organizing Committee awarded the first prize of 10 million VND to the performance “Farmer Dance” by MK3A; 3 second prizes of 8 million VND each; 3 third prizes of 6 million VND each.
Last October, the company gave 60 savings books worth 6 million VND each to disadvantaged workers, helping them improve their lives and feel secure in their work.
