All factories at Makalot Vietnam Garment Co., Ltd. are equipped with air conditioning.
Makalot Vietnam Garment Company Limited (Thanh Ha) has just invested more than 20 billion VND to install a central air conditioning system to cool 2 factories, helping workers feel secure in production during the hot season.
The company has 6 workshops in Thanh Ha district, recruiting 500 sewing workers. In 2022, the company invested more than 40 billion VND to install air conditioners in 4 workshops. Thus, all of the company's production workshops have air conditioning systems.
In 2021, the company's Board of Directors decided to increase the basic salary for all officers, workers, and laborers from region 2 to region 1 (while the basic salary of workers according to regulations belongs to region 4). The average income of workers is about 9 million VND/person/month. In addition, the company arranges 15 shuttle buses to pick up and drop off workers and laborers in remote locations.
