Building a clean and strong Party Committee of the Central Agencies

On the morning of November 9, in Hanoi, Politburo member, Permanent member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, attended the 75th Anniversary of the Party's Traditional Day of the Central Agencies Bloc (November 7, 1948 - November 7, 2023).

Raising awareness and responsibility of Party committees, cadres and party members

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, congratulating and praising the achievements of the Party Committee of the Bloc over the past 75 years, Standing member of the Secretariat Truong Thi Mai affirmed that the unceasing efforts of generations of leaders, cadres and Party members of the Party Committee of the Bloc have made important contributions to the great achievements of historical significance of the country, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Emphasizing the general objective of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Standing Secretariat stated that in the context of many advantages and difficulties in the world, region and country, it requires Party committees, Party organizations, and heads of each agency from the central to local levels to continue to closely follow reality, analyze and deeply and comprehensively evaluate the achieved results and limitations; draw lessons to have appropriate and effective solutions; focus on leadership, direction, and strive to complete at the highest level the resolutions of Party congresses at all levels in conjunction with the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

The Party Committee of the Bloc is a large Party Committee, concentrating the Party Committees of the Central strategic advisory agencies with a team of highly qualified and experienced cadres and Party members. Many Party members are leading experts in the fields of socio-economics, national defense, security, and foreign affairs. The Party Committee's activities have made an important contribution to deciding the Party's strategic guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; bringing the Party's guidelines, policies, and resolutions into life; and improving the Party's leadership and governing capacity to meet the requirements of the new period.

To complete the assigned tasks, the Standing Secretariat requires the Party Committee of the Bloc to raise awareness and responsibility of the Party Committee, cadres and Party members about the position, role, function and political tasks of the Party Committee of the Bloc in conjunction with the political tasks of each Party Committee, Party Committee, Party cell, cadre and Party member.

The Party Committee of the Bloc focuses on seriously, exemplaryly and effectively implementing important documents and resolutions of the Party during the 13th term such as Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW on promoting the building and rectification of the Party and the political system; resolutely preventing, repelling and strictly handling cadres and Party members who have degraded in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation"; Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW on strengthening the consolidation of the building of grassroots Party organizations and improving the quality of Party members in the new period; Resolution No. 28-NQ/TW on continuing to innovate the Party's leadership and governance methods over the political system in the new period.

In addition, the Party Committee of the Bloc continues to synchronously and comprehensively implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress in conjunction with the Resolutions of the Party Congresses. That process must ensure the leadership role of the Party; be determined to build a clean and strong Party organization, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength, sense of responsibility, and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, especially leaders, leaders and managers; strive to excellently complete assigned tasks, worthy of the position and role of the Party organization of the central agencies of the Party, State and political system.

The Standing Secretariat emphasized the need to focus on consolidating and perfecting Party Committees and Party Committees at all levels to meet the requirements of political tasks and Party building work. Party Committee Secretaries must be people with moral qualities, leadership capacity, deep understanding of Party work, strictly follow the Party's organizational and operational principles, be exemplary, and have prestige among cadres, Party members, agencies, and organizations.

Strengthening the management of party members, party members of the Party Committee of the Bloc must best implement the Party's policies and regulations, the State's policies and laws; not allowing violations to occur, affecting the people's trust in the Central agency. The Party Committee of the Bloc must have a high percentage of party members to ensure political tasks. Ensuring the leadership role of the Party Committee of the Bloc, regularly leading, directing, inspecting, supervising, ensuring that the Party's resolutions and policies are effectively implemented in each agency and organization.

"The Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Standing Party Committee of the Bloc must uphold their responsibilities, innovate their working style and manner, improve the quality of leadership and direction, build good internal solidarity, and create positive spillovers in Party committees, Party cells, cadres, and Party members," the Standing Secretariat emphasized.

With the glorious tradition built over the past 75 years, the Standing Secretariat believes that the Party Committee of the Bloc will continue to excellently fulfill its assigned tasks, build a clean, strong, exemplary Party Committee, and make important contributions to the country's development goals, the cause of innovation, and the construction and protection of the Fatherland.

Receiving the direction of the Standing Secretariat on the key tasks in the coming time, Party Central Committee member, Party Secretary of the Bloc Nguyen Van The emphasized that this is a great source of encouragement and motivation from the Party and State leaders for the Party organizations, cadres and Party members of the Bloc Party Committee; at the same time, it is a very important direction and orientation for the Bloc Party Committee to continue to promote the glorious tradition to build the Bloc Party Committee increasingly clean and strong. The entire Party Committee will continue to promote the tradition, unite as one, and strive to strive.xBuilding a clean and strong Party organization, excellently completing the political tasks of the Central agencies.

Digital transformation in party work

On this occasion, the Party Committee of the Bloc organized the Opening Ceremony of the Electronic Party Member Handbook and received a number of documents on Party work; thereby, demonstrating the dynamism, creativity, and innovation in leadership methods in a Party organization with its own characteristics such as the Party Committee of the Bloc.

Speaking at the ceremony, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Bloc Lai Xuan Lam said that the Electronic Party Member Handbook and some documents on Party work are aimed at removing difficulties, obstacles and shortcomings of Party organizations, cadres and Party members, especially the grassroots Party Committee members and Party cell secretaries, in the condition that most Party organizations at the grassroots level lack or do not have full-time cadres, most of whom do Party work part-time while the political tasks of Central agencies and units require great efforts and great responsibility.

Putting into operation and using the electronic Party Member Handbook will make an important contribution to innovating the leadership methods of Party committees at all levels; raising awareness, consciousness and responsibility of Party committees at all levels and cadres and Party members about digital transformation in general, digital transformation in Party work in particular; gradually innovating the methods of governance, management of cadres, Party members and Party activities; improving Party work skills for Party committee members and Party cell secretaries.

The Party Committee of the Bloc received the handover of 3 electronic bookcases: "Protecting the Party's ideological foundation;" "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" and "Electronic Party Cell" with nearly 200 books. Of which, there are 70 books on protecting the Party's ideological foundation; 80 books on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; nearly 50 Party cell books and launched a number of documents on the Party work of the Party Committee of the Bloc during the 13th Party Congress term of the Bloc Party Committee.

Also during the Ceremony, the Party Committee of the Bloc organized an exhibition of some important documents, researched, compiled and published since the Party Committee of the Bloc was re-established (April 11, 2007), recording historical and term marks, affirming the position and prestige of the Party Committee of the Bloc throughout the process of formation and development.
