The Central Inspection Commission disciplined 29 party organizations and 65 party members.

The Inspection Committees at all levels have disciplined 183 party organizations and 6,302 party members, including 1,975 committee members, of which the Central Inspection Committee disciplined 29 party organizations and 65 party members.

The national conference to review inspection and supervision work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024, organized by the Central Inspection Commission, took place on the morning of December 27 in Hanoi.

Attending the conference were Politburo members: Standing member of the Secretariat, Head of the Central Organization Committee Truong Thi Mai; Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Cam Tu; Director of the National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council Nguyen Xuan Thang. Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai also attended.

At the conference, outlining the results of inspection and supervision work in 2023, Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron said that in the work of leadership, direction and implementation guidance, the Central Inspection Commission has advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue Regulation No. 110-QD/TW on rotation of cadres in the Party Inspection sector; Regulation No. 117-QD/TW on apologizing and restoring the rights of party organizations and party members who have been unjustly disciplined; Regulation No. 131-QD/TW on controlling power, preventing and combating corruption and negativity in inspection, supervision, enforcement of party discipline and in inspection and auditing activities. The Central Inspection Commission has also advised and submitted to the Politburo the Inspection Process of the Politburo and the Secretariat along with many other important processes.

Regarding the implementation of the task of inspecting party organizations and party members, Mr. Tran Van Ron said that in 2023, Party committees at all levels inspected 57,486 party organizations and 323,979 party members.

Through inspection, local and unit Party committees concluded that 1,769 Party organizations and 6,796 Party members had shortcomings and violations; 11 Party organizations and 312 Party members were disciplined.

During this period, when conducting inspections of 3,537 party organizations and 9,246 party members with signs of violations, the Inspection Committees at all levels concluded that 2,315 party organizations and 7,395 party members had violated the law; 284 party organizations and 3,052 party members had to be disciplined; 216 party organizations and 2,645 party members were disciplined.

The report at the Conference showed that in 2023, Party committees at all levels supervised 42,979 Party organizations and 147,197 Party members, of which 48,388 were Party committee members at all levels. Through supervision, Party committees at all levels concluded that 1,104 Party organizations and 1,777 Party members had violations and shortcomings, and transferred 10 organizations and 32 Party members for inspection when there were signs of violations.

Party committees at all levels have resolved and denounced 8 party organizations and 225 party members. Through resolution, it was determined that 4 party organizations and 46 party members had violations and shortcomings; 4 party organizations and 37 party members had to be disciplined.

The Inspection Committees at all levels received 25,401 denunciations and complaints against party organizations and party members; resolved 46 denunciations against party organizations and 1,297 denunciations against party members. The Inspection Committees at all levels resolved 36 party organizations and 1,034 party members. Through resolution, it was concluded that 2 party organizations and 170 party members must be disciplined, and 143 party members were disciplined.

Inspection Committees at all levels have inspected and supervised the declaration of assets and income of 7,393 party members; through inspection and supervision, it was concluded that 239 party members had violations and shortcomings.

Some violations and shortcomings were pointed out, such as incomplete and unclear explanations of the origin of assets and income, incomplete and inconsistent asset declarations, incorrect forms, and incorrect forms, etc., for party organizations and party members to overcome and learn from.

In 2023, Party committees at all levels and Party cells disciplined 423 Party organizations, an increase of 2.92% compared to 2022; disciplined 18,130 Party members, an increase of 10.64% compared to 2022, with 3,073 Party committee members.

According to information at the conference, the Central Inspection Commission has set many important tasks in 2024. Accordingly, Party committees, Party organizations, Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, need to further enhance awareness and responsibility for inspection and supervision work; continue to strictly implement regulations, rules, and instructions of the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, and Central Inspection Commission on inspection, supervision, and party discipline work.

Strengthen leadership, direction, implementation and guidance of lower-level Party committees, Party organizations and Inspection Committees in carrying out inspection, supervision and Party discipline work. Well implement the tasks and solutions set out in Conclusion No. 34-KL/TW of the Politburo on the Party's Inspection and Supervision Strategy to 2030 and Plan No. 52-KH/UBKTTW of the Central Inspection Committee.

In 2024, the Central Inspection Commission will continue to review, revise, supplement, and perfect the regulations, rules, guidelines, and procedures on Party inspection, supervision, and discipline work to ensure consistency, strictness, and compliance with Party regulations and practical conditions.

The Committee focused on absorbing and perfecting the procedures and regulations to submit to the Politburo and the Secretariat for promulgation. Summarizing the implementation of coordination regulations between the Central Inspection Commission and a number of Party delegations, Party committees, and Party executive committees, on that basis promulgating new coordination regulations.

Inspection Committees at all levels actively advise and assist Party committees in developing and implementing the inspection and supervision work program for 2024. Promote the comprehensive implementation of tasks as prescribed by the Party Charter. Strengthen inspection and supervision of the prevention and combat of corruption, negativity, and waste; and the implementation of Party regulations and State laws.

Inspection Committees at all levels focus on inspections when there are signs of violations in areas prone to negative corruption, prominent and pressing issues in society, internal disunity, and public concern, especially signs of degradation in political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; violations in specialized areas, and closed activities.
