Tu Ky district leaders and young people visit the district's Martyrs Temple

Delegates and young people visited the district's Martyrs' Temple, expressing gratitude for the sacrifices of heroic martyrs for their homeland and country.

At the meeting, the youths had the opportunity to talk with some veterans, soldiers, and outstanding young people who had been discharged from the army; to exchange and discuss about the performance of military service and the traditions of Tu Ky homeland. Many special and meaningful performances about the relationship between the army and the people, the love for the homeland, the sea and islands, and the indomitable will of Uncle Ho's soldiers were performed to encourage and motivate the youths before their enlistment.

Tu Ky district leaders give gifts to young men preparing to join the army

In 2023, Tu Ky district has 264 young people preparing to join the army, including 240 citizens performing military service and 24 citizens performing police service. Of these, 6 young people are exempted from deferment and voluntarily apply to join the army. On this occasion, Tu Ky district presented gifts to the young people leaving for the army, each gift worth 400,000 VND.

The young people were excited with the performances.

This year, the district handed over 264 young men to a number of military units including: Brigade 144 (General Staff), Brigade 513 (Military Region 3), Division 363 (Air Defense - Air Force), Regiment 95 (Division 325, Army Corps 2), Command for the Protection of President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, Military Command of Hai Duong province... On February 6, Tu Ky district will organize the handover of soldiers to the units.
