Tu Ky organizes the earliest 6th grade capacity assessment test in the province

Tu Ky District Education and Training Department is the first unit in the province to organize a high-quality entrance exam for grade 6. Students take the math and Vietnamese test (60 minutes) in the form of multiple choice and essay. The early test is to reduce pressure on parents and candidates.

According to Hai Duong Newspaper reporters, most students were excited because the test was within their ability and most of them finished the test. Some primary school teachers in Tu Ky said that the test followed the curriculum and the structure of the Department of Education and Training. The test was not too difficult, but still differentiated, promoted the qualities and abilities of students and was suitable for selecting students for high-quality classes.

The Vietnamese language test is light and familiar, the writing part is quite good when asking students to describe a river in the morning. However, if students do not read carefully, they will easily get off topic. The math test has many questions that differentiate students quite highly, especially related to comparing the areas of triangles and calculating the areas of triangles based on the ratio of their heights and corresponding ratios of their bases; calculating the areas of the faces of a cube.

The average score for both subjects will be from 6-7 points. Math will have a score of 9.5-10 but it will be rare. Vietnamese may have a score of 8-9 but it depends on the emotions expressed by the candidate and the examiner.

It is expected that on June 9, the Department of Education and Training of Tu Ky district will announce the admission results, and on June 12, the applications of unsuccessful students will be returned.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Phan Boi Chau Secondary School - a key school in Tu Ky district, will enroll 190 students in high-quality grade 6, an increase of 30 students compared to the previous school year. This year, Phan Boi Chau Secondary School's high-quality grade 6 enrollment has many new points in terms of admission conditions, with the bonus points and admission points being equal. This is to improve the quality of the school's high-quality grade 6 enrollment.

On June 9, Hai Duong City was the second locality in the province to organize a test to assess the capacity of students entering grade 6 at key secondary schools. The remaining localities will organize the test from June 10-20.

According to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong, secondary schools must complete enrollment for grade 6 before July 2.
