Thanh Mien High School won first place for the second consecutive year in the 10th grade excellent student competition.

At this exam, Thanh Mien High School had 23 contestants winning prizes with 2 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 7 third prizes, and 2 consolation prizes.

Previously, Thanh Mien High School also ranked first in the team competition for excellent 12th graders at the provincial level for the 2023-2024 school year. In the last 4 consecutive years, Thanh Mien High School has ranked first in the team competition for excellent 10th graders for 2 years and ranked first in the team competition for excellent 12th graders at the provincial level for 3 years.

Along with Thanh Mien High School, Kim Thanh, Thanh Ha, and Ninh Giang High Schools all maintained their rankings in the 10th grade excellent student exam as the previous school year. Kim Thanh High School ranked second, Thanh Ha High School ranked third, and Ninh Giang High School ranked fourth.

This year’s 10th grade gifted student exam had 1,154 candidates from public high schools and some non-public high schools participating. Each candidate took one of 8 subjects: math, physics, chemistry, biology, literature, history, geography, and English.

The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training recognized 711 students who won prizes. There were 8 students who won first prizes in 8 subjects, including 3 students from Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted, 2 students from Thanh Mien High School, and 1 student each from Kinh Mon High School, Thanh Ha High School, and Duong An High School (Binh Giang).
