Stealing a motorbike from a hired worker to sell

Specifically, Lo Van Nhan (born in 1998, residing in Dong Khe commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai) was sentenced to 9 months in prison for theft; Lo Van Hai (born in 2003, residing in Muong Chum commune, Muong La district, Son La) was sentenced to 26 months in prison for illegal drug trafficking.

In need of money for personal expenses, last May, Lo Van Nhan used his Facebook account to post a job search in the group “Northern Excavator Driver” and was hired by Ngo Ngoc Manh, born in 1985 in Van Thai village, Cam Van commune (Cam Giang). On the morning of May 29, Manh gave Nhan a Honda Dream 34B1-648.39 to go to the construction site to work. At around 11am the same day, Nhan returned Manh’s motorbike. At around 12:30pm, seeing that Manh had not put the motorbike away and the key was still in the ignition, Nhan rode his motorbike back to his house in Dong Khe commune to find someone to sell the motorbike to.

On June 1, Mr. Manh filed a report and the case was investigated. Afterwards, Nhan voluntarily surrendered the vehicle to the investigation agency.

At 6:00 p.m. on May 13, in Kim Xa village, Cam Doai commune, Cam Giang district police caught Lo Van Hai red-handed hiding a plastic bag containing a white powdery substance in the pocket of his jacket. Hai confessed that it was heroin, and that he was hiding it to sell, but before he could sell it, he was discovered and caught red-handed. Lo Van Hai is a drug addict.
