Standing member of the Secretariat Luong Cuong visits the wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap

General Secretary and President To Lam; Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh; National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man and many other leaders and former leaders of the Party and State sent wreaths to pay their respects to Ms. Dang Bich Ha.

General Luong Cuong, Standing member of the Secretariat, visited Mrs. Dang Bich Ha. Writing in the condolence book, the Standing member of the Secretariat expressed: "Deeply mourning the passing of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha, wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap. I respectfully send my deepest condolences to the entire family."

The delegation of the National Assembly Standing Committee led by Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, came to pay their respects, accompanied by members of the National Assembly Standing Committee and National Assembly deputies.

Writing in the condolence book, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Quang Phuong expressed his condolences: "Deeply mourning Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha - Wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap. Her passing is a great loss, leaving behind endless regret that nothing can compensate for for her family and relatives."

Leading the Government delegation, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha offered incense to pay respect to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha. The Deputy Prime Minister wrote in the condolence book: "On behalf of the Government, I am deeply saddened and respectfully bid farewell to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha. I would like to express my deepest condolences to the entire family. May her soul rest in peace and return to the eternal place with the national hero - General Vo Nguyen Giap."

Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen and the delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City bid farewell to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha.

"Deeply mourning the passing of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha - wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap - a typical personality in every position of Vietnamese women - an exemplary teacher, historical researcher, a shining example, silently sacrificing for a great cause, for family happiness. I respectfully bow to bid farewell to you to General Vo, to the world of good people. I would like to express my deepest condolences to your family", Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen wrote in the condolence book.

Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai and the Hanoi delegation visited Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha.

The Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee wrote in the condolence book: "The Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Hanoi National Assembly Delegation deeply mourn the passing of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha - Wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap. The passing of Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha leaves behind boundless sorrow for all cadres, party members and people of the capital. On behalf of the Hanoi Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, I would like to bid farewell to Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha and send my deepest condolences to her family."

The delegation of the Ministry of Finance led by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc paid their respects. Expressing condolences to the family, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc wrote in the condolence book: "With deep sorrow and respect for Ms. Dang Bich Ha. She is an exemplary and respected role model for Vietnamese women."

The funeral of Mrs. Dang Bich Ha will be held at 6:00 a.m. on September 29 at Vung Chua - Yen Island (Quang Trach, Quang Binh).

Associate Professor Dang Bich Ha - Wife of General Vo Nguyen Giap passed away on September 17, at the age of 96. During her lifetime, she was the General's spiritual support and solid rear.

Ms. Dang Bich Ha is the eldest child of Professor Dang Thai Mai, Minister of Education, Director of the Institute of Literature, a famous teacher, writer, theorist and literary critic.

As both husband and wife and close friends, General Vo Nguyen Giap and his wife Dang Bich Ha are an example of building a family together, using it as a solid and steady foundation to successfully complete the glorious mission assigned by the Fatherland and the people.

They have four children: Vo Hoa Binh, Vo Hanh Phuc, Vo Dien Bien, and Vo Hong Nam.
