Strive to complete the technical traffic opening of the project in October 2025.
Units and contractors need to proactively source materials, especially imported materials, arrange highly concentrated workers, and increase "3 shifts and 4 shifts". During the construction process, ensure the quality and aesthetics of the project. Relevant units and localities coordinate closely to quickly resolve arising problems, not wasting time during the project implementation. Inspecting the construction site of the investment project to build the intersection connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5, Hanoi - Hai Phong railway, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested the construction unit to study and shorten the construction time to complete the project 2 months ahead of schedule. The Kinh Mon River overpass and access road construction project connecting the interchange with National Highway 5 in Hai Duong province has basically completed the site clearance work. The contractor has basically completed the sand and soil filling of the hill at the bridgehead and is constructing the crushed stone foundation. The bridge has constructed 87/90 bored piles of all 14 piers and is constructing the pier base of the remaining 8/14 piers.
The investment project to build the intersection connecting National Highway 17B with National Highway 5 and the Hanoi - Hai Phong railway has a total investment of 1,867 billion VND from the central budget and the provincial budget. Up to now, the contractor is focusing on sand filling the roadbed and cement piles adjacent to the bridge abutment. At the same time, the foundation layer is being constructed to build a service road to the roundabout.
