On March 31, Tan Dong Hiep Ward Police, Di An City (Binh Duong) investigated a case of a car driver using a stick to beat a man riding a motorbike.
On the same day, social media users circulated a clip recording a male driver getting into an argument with a man driving a motorbike while turning left.
The two sides stopped their vehicles in the middle of the road and exchanged words. The car driver repeatedly hit the man on the motorbike with a stick, forcing him and the girl sitting behind to jump off the motorbike to avoid it.
The incident occurred at 7:00 a.m. on March 31, in Dong Thanh residential area (Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An city).
While driving a car turning left from Highway 7 onto Highway 10, he nearly collided with a man driving a motorbike on Highway 7, in the opposite direction.
The incident was captured on security cameras and posted on social media by locals.
"The car driver was holding a bat that looked like a baseball bat, and the man on the motorbike lived nearby. Every day he took his child to school across this road, and the little girl was so scared that she cried a lot," a witness recounted.
The man on the motorbike has not yet reported to the authorities. Tan Dong Hiep Ward Police have received the information and are verifying and handling the case.
