The detained woman is named TTNT (born in 2005, from Ben Tre). According to initial information, T confessed that she had been married for a long time but had no children. Due to ovarian cysts, T had a miscarriage once, and the possibility of having children was very low. Due to family pressure, T lied that she was pregnant and was due to give birth in October 2023.

On November 4, T went to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Binh Duong General Hospital for a reproductive health check but lied to her family that she was hospitalized to give birth.

Here, T dressed as a hospital medical staff and entered the room of Ms. HTB (born in 1998, from Hau Giang) who had just given birth to a baby girl on November 3.

Then, T said he was taking the girl for a vaccination, not allowing the patient's family to go with him, then T hugged the girl and left the hospital.

About an hour later, the family did not see the child returned to the room, so they reported to the hospital. Binh Duong Department of Health directed the Provincial General Hospital to closely coordinate with the police to investigate the incident.

At around 11:00 p.m. on November 4, the police arrested T and the girl in Dau Tieng district (Binh Duong).
