According to the draft plan, the opening ceremony will take place on the morning of April 3 at the Provincial Sports Gymnasium, with more than 2,000 participants, including more than 1,000 marching and performing troops and 1,100 spectators. March 25 will be for practice and preliminary rehearsal; March 28 will be for general rehearsal.

Up to now, the Phu Dong Sports Festival at school and district levels has been completed. The Phu Dong Sports Festival at provincial level has 4 competitions, 3 of which have been completed, including: 5-a-side football (men) at primary school level; badminton (men, women) at high school level; chess (men, women) at primary and secondary school levels. Athletics (men, women) at secondary and high school levels are expected to be held in early April 2024.
