Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Luu Van Ban assigned the Directors of the Departments of Construction and Home Affairs to coordinate and unify information and data on the merger of commune-level administrative units, ensuring the arrangement is consistent with the planning adjustment project.
According to the Department of Construction of Hai Duong province, Nam Sach district is part of the provincial center with the function of a comprehensive urban service area, with an important political, economic and cultural position in the northwest of the province, developing industry, commercial services... Therefore, the urban development orientation of the district by 2030 will be reduced from 9 urban areas to 4 urban areas. Reduce the area of new planning for urban development and rural residential areas according to land use planning in Hiep Cat, Nam Trung, Hop Tien, Thanh Quang, Dong Lac communes... At the same time, supplement the land fund for building service housing, worker housing and social housing with an area of about 18 hectares in Quoc Tuan commune.
Regarding the orientation of industrial and commercial development, the land area planned for the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters in some communes and small-scale industrial production land along the road leading to Han Bridge will be reduced. Cam Giang district is oriented to be a concentrated industrial development zone with a large scale of the province, expected to be divided into 3 functional zones.
