By 2030, Thanh Mien district will have 3 urban areas.
According to the second adjustment of Thanh Mien district's regional planning, by 2030, this locality will adjust its orientation to reduce from 12 urban areas to 3 urban areas.

According to the adjustment of the construction planning of Ninh Giang district to 2030, with a vision to 2050, recently approved by the Provincial People's Committee, the district will have a number of additional tourist areas and cultural-historical-religious urban areas.
