The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just approved the task of zoning the Tan Hung ward area (Hai Duong city), scale 1/2000, about 606 hectares wide, within the boundaries of Tan Hung, Thach Khoi wards and Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city).
The planning research area belongs to subdivision 4B - Tan Hung ward area, belonging to the boundaries of Tan Hung ward, Thach Khoi ward and Gia Xuyen commune (Hai Duong city). According to the leader of Tan Hung ward People's Committee, there are about 500 hectares in this ward, the remaining area is in Thach Khoi ward and Gia Xuyen commune. The planning location to the north borders the residential area of Hai Tan ward and the city cemetery; to the south borders Ring Road 1 and Thach Khoi - Gia Xuyen industrial cluster; to the east borders the existing ditch, the residential area of Ngoc Lac village, Ngoc Son commune and the residential area of Hai Tan ward; to the west borders National Highway 37, Phu Tao bridge and the residential area of Thach Khoi ward.
The scale of the planning study is about 606 hectares. The current population in the planning area is more than 10,000 people. The forecast population in 2040 in the planning area is from 48,000 to 49,500 people.
The planning objective is to concretize the approved Adjustment of the General Planning of Hai Duong City to 2040 and the socio-economic development orientation of Hai Duong City. Determined according to the general planning as a green, smart urban development area in the south of the city. Orientation to renovate and embellish existing areas, natural landscapes associated with the construction of new functional areas, synchronous connection with the technical infrastructure system, common social infrastructure; smooth connection with surrounding neighboring areas. Construction planning orientation: new urban areas associated with green, smart, ecological urban models, synchronously connecting infrastructure with urban residential projects being invested in construction and being implemented according to the planning interwoven with existing low-density residential areas; to improve and enhance the quality of living environment of people in the area. Create a multifunctional area to meet the living and working needs of residents in the area, creating a new attraction with many convenient segments, attracting residents to live here.
