The National Assembly passed a resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Vo Van Thuong from the position of President for the 2021-2026 term and the termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

On the morning of March 21, 2024, the 6th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly took place at the National Assembly House, Hanoi, chaired by National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to carry out the following contents:

Listen to the report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the dismissal of Mr. Tran Tuan Anh, member of the National Assembly Delegation of Khanh Hoa province, from his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Consider the dismissal of Mr. Vo Van Thuong, member of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City, from the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term and the termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Consider the dismissal of the XV National Assembly delegate for Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province.

After listening to the reports, proposals, and opinions of Mr. Vo Van Thuong, the National Assembly discussed, voted by secret ballot, and approved:

Resolution on the dismissal of Mr. Vo Van Thuong, member of the National Assembly Delegation of Da Nang City, from the position of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the 2021-2026 term and the termination of his duties as a deputy of the 15th National Assembly.

Resolution on the dismissal of the XV National Assembly delegate for Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Lan of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Phuc province.
