On the morning of March 12, the District Youth Union and the Thanh Mien District Youth Union organized a children's painting contest with the theme "Uncle Nguyen Luong Bang and his hometown Thanh Mien".
36 contestants (19 primary school students and 17 secondary school students) participated in drawing pictures on the following themes: Uncle Nguyen Luong Bang's feelings for his hometown Thanh Mien and Thanh Mien's hometown for Uncle Nguyen Luong Bang; beautiful actions, specific work in emulation, studying and following his example; the pride and love of teenagers and children for Uncle Ho; the spirit of solidarity, being good, striving to excel in studying, training, living and daily life.
The entries were presented on A3 white paper provided by the Organizing Committee. In 120 minutes, with optional colored materials, the contestants presented creative, attractive, and colorful works.
All completed entries will be photographed by the Organizing Committee and posted on Facebook "Tuoi Tre Thanh Mien" and scored. The result of each work is based on the total score of the Jury and the votes on Facebook.
The competition's summary and award ceremony is scheduled to take place on March 25.
This is an activity of Thanh Mien youth in response to Youth Month 2024 and the 120th anniversary of the birth of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang (1904-2024). Through the contest, we aim to educate children about pride and love, creating conditions for Thanh Mien children to learn about the background, life and career of Vice President Nguyen Luong Bang.
