Dong Lac Ward introduces the history of the Ward Party Committee

Dong Lac Commune Party Cell was established on December 20, 1946 under the name Tran Phu Party Cell. By the end of 1950, the cell had 80 party members. To date, Dong Lac Ward Party Cell has 351 party members, operating in 11 cells. The entire Party Cell has 167 party members who have received Party badges of various types. The Party Cell has been recognized as a clean and strong Party Cell for many consecutive years. In 2020, Dong Lac Ward Party Cell was awarded a certificate of merit by the Provincial Party Committee.

In recent years, under the leadership of the Party Committee, the average economic growth rate of Dong Lac ward has reached 10 - 13%/year. The average income per capita in 2023 will reach 68 million VND. 5/5 residential areas have maintained the title of cultural villages and residential areas. All 3 schools have maintained the title of national standard schools. The poverty rate is 1.09%.

In 2019, the National Assembly Standing Committee passed a resolution to establish Dong Lac ward on the basis of the entire area and population of Dong Lac commune.

On this occasion, the Ward Party Committee released the book History of the Party Committee and People of Dong Lac Ward from 1930 to 2020. The book presents a general and relatively systematic description of the traditions of the people and homeland of Dong Lac; reflecting quite comprehensively and honestly the historical journey of the Party Committee, government and people of Dong Lac.
