The Hai Duong Department of Education and Training has set a target of 33% of trained workers receiving certificates this year.
On the afternoon of March 18, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong deployed vocational education - continuing education in 2025 at the College of Tourism and Industry (Cam Giang).
At the conference, representatives of the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong, colleges, intermediate schools and the Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education together evaluated the results achieved in vocational education - continuing education activities in 2024, at the same time discussed and evaluated the limitations, set specific goals and proposed solutions for implementation in 2025.
Specifically, the target for vocational education activities: the rate of trained workers with certificates in 2025 will reach 33%; the number of newly recruited vocational education students will reach 38,800. The target for continuing education activities: strive for 20-25% of junior high school graduates to continue studying at Vocational Education Centers - Continuing Education to receive vocational training in parallel with general education; 30-35% of high school graduates to continue studying at vocational education institutions providing intermediate and college training...
At the conference, the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong also disseminated Resolution No. 35/2024/NQ-HDND dated December 11, 2024 of the People's Council of Hai Duong province on regulations on support policies for trained workers at vocational training institutions in Hai Duong province; discussed a number of solutions to improve the quality of high school graduation exams and carry out a number of continuing education tasks.
Hai Duong currently has 35 vocational training establishments and enterprises participating in vocational training activities, including 7 colleges, 5 secondary schools, 12 Vocational Training - Continuing Education Centers... In fact, there are 17 establishments operating in vocational training, including 7 colleges, 2 secondary schools, 7 vocational training centers and 1 enterprise. Most of the vocational training establishments are concentrated in Hai Duong city, Chi Linh city and some districts near Hai Duong city.
In 2024, the whole province enrolled more than 38,900 students, of which 1,354 were college students, 2,678 were intermediate students, 22,335 were elementary students, and 12,534 were trained for less than 3 months.
In the 2024-2025 school year, there will be more than 17,700 students studying the province's continuing high school education program, an increase of more than 4,000 students compared to the previous school year, including nearly 6,200 grade 10 students, 5,680 grade 11 students and more than 5,840 grade 12 students.
