A group of 9th grade students from Tan Hong Secondary School made their own firecrackers and brought them to school to burn.

A group of five students from Tan Hong Secondary School (Binh Giang, Hai Duong) were recently discovered by the school's police force in coordination with them while making and producing firecrackers and bringing them to school to burn.

5 students were discovered by police and school

The related cases include V.D.K (born in 2007); LTB, TMĐ, NVC, VTĐ, (all born in 2009, living in the same Tan Hong commune). All 5 of these cases are 9th grade students at Tan Hong Secondary School.

Since the end of November 2023, V.D.K and LTB have pooled money to buy chemicals and tools to make firecrackers on social networks. After receiving the chemicals and tools to make firecrackers, V.D.K and LTB divided them into 2 parts and hid them in 2 houses. LTB gave TMĐ a part. TMĐ brought the chemicals and tools home and made 2 firecrackers themselves.

On December 16, 2023, TMĐ brought 2 firecrackers to class 9B and gave NVC and VTĐ (both born in 2009) each 1 firecracker. After that, NVC and VTĐ burned these 2 firecrackers at Tan Hong Secondary School. Upon discovering the incident, Tan Hong Commune Police coordinated with Tan Hong Secondary School to draw up a record and work with the 5 students above.

Searching the homes of LTB and V.D.K, the police discovered and seized many materials used to make firecrackers.

The case is under further investigation.
