Fines for sand transport ships without invoices and documents on Luoc River

Hai Duong Province Traffic Police have just discovered and handled a case of a sand-carrying ship without registration, invoices, or documents on the Luoc River, in Ninh Giang town.

On April 13, the Waterway Traffic Police Team, Traffic Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police) announced that the unit had just administratively fined captain PKC, born in 1986, in Ha Thanh commune (Tu Ky) more than 29 million VND for violating many regulations in the field of inland waterway traffic.

Previously, at 3:20 p.m. on March 30, a working group of the Waterway Traffic Police Team inspected the watercraft ND-3217, driven by Mr. PKC, which was anchored at km 19, left bank of the Luoc River (in Ninh Giang town). There were about 109 m³ of black sand on board. At the time of inspection, the captain could not present a certificate of technical safety and environmental protection, as well as invoices and documents proving the legal origin of this sand.

In addition, the person in charge of the chief engineer position, Mr. NVCh., born in 1971, in Quang Trung commune (Tu Ky district) also did not have the required professional certificate. For this violation, Mr. NVCh. was administratively fined 6 million VND.
