Emergency arrest of man who beat someone to the point of brain injury after traffic collision in Binh Duong

Binh Duong Provincial Police urgently arrested Le Van Hien to investigate the beating after a traffic collision, causing the victim to fall into a deep coma, diagnosed with bilateral frontal brain contusions, with a very poor prognosis.

Binh Duong Provincial Police have just urgently arrested Le Van Hien (36 years old, from An Giang, temporarily residing in Thoi Hoa ward, Ben Cat city) for assaulting Nguyen Tien B. (38 years old) at the intersection of My Phuoc-Tan Van and NE8 road (Thoi Hoa ward) on December 30, 2024, causing serious injuries to the victim.

Mr. B. is currently being treated at Cho Ray Hospital in a deep coma, diagnosed with bilateral frontal brain contusions, with a very poor prognosis.

According to initial information, on the evening of December 30, 2024, Mr. B. and Mr. Hien were said to have had a traffic collision, after which the two had a fight. Mr. Hien knocked Mr. B. down on the street and repeatedly used his helmet to attack the victim's head. When Mr. B. was motionless, Mr. Hien left the scene on a motorbike.

According to initial testimony, Mr. Hien said the cause of the incident was a conflict arising after a traffic collision.
