Some schools let students stay home because of the cold.

On the evening of January 22, many Departments of Education and Training in Hai Duong province directed schools to adjust class hours or let students take time off based on the actual weather conditions due to the weather forecast that from January 23, Hai Duong area will have severe cold.

Accordingly, preschool children and primary school students are off school when the outdoor temperature is below 10°C; secondary school students are off school when the outdoor temperature is below 7°C.

Schools should not organize outdoor activities for students during cold days; special attention should be paid to boarding meals. Schools should coordinate with parents to remind students to wear enough warm clothes, eat nutritious food, and take care of their health.

Currently, some schools in Hai Duong City and Thanh Ha District have announced that students will be off tomorrow, January 23, such as: Cam Thuong Primary School, Nguyen Luong Bang Primary School (both in Hai Duong City), Cam Che Primary School (Thanh Ha)... Many schools have notified parents to monitor the weather in the early morning and if the outside temperature is below 10°C, they should proactively let their children stay home from school.

Because staff and teachers still go to school to work normally, in special cases when students come to school, teachers still receive, manage and take care of that student at school.
