Only 12.8% of policy beneficiaries have social security accounts.

According to statistics from the authorities, by the end of December 2023, Hai Duong had only 14,781 out of 115,667 social security beneficiaries with accounts for non-cash payments (accounting for 12.8%). The amount of funds paid through accounts reached over 62.07 billion VND.

To continue promoting the implementation of non-cash social security benefits for beneficiaries of social security benefits and ensure the benefits of Project 06, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has issued a document requesting the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to preside over and coordinate with the Provincial Police, People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and relevant agencies and units to promote the implementation of non-cash social security benefits; supplement and grant accounts to beneficiaries of social security who need to pay via accounts.

The provincial police direct the grassroots police force to regularly maintain and ensure that population data is "correct, complete, clean, and alive"; promptly supplement and update information on beneficiaries of social security benefits to serve the purpose of searching, providing information, and opening social security accounts.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities continue to promote the task of implementing social security payments through bank accounts, while at the same time doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that beneficiaries of social security policies respond to and participate in registration and receive subsidies through bank accounts.
