Hanoi Food Culture Festival 2023 takes place from December 1 - 3

The festival includes many attractive activities. The main highlight is the space for introducing products and enjoying cuisine with an international cuisine area, an area introducing culinary culture of typical craft villages of Hanoi, and an area introducing local cuisine.

In particular, the area introducing culinary culture of Hanoi's craft villages will recreate the space imbued with the characteristics of craft villages associated with Hanoi's typical culinary heritage such as: Hanoi Pho, Phu Do vermicelli, Uoc Le ham, Vong and Me Tri green rice flakes, Phu Thuong sticky rice and sweet soup, Tranh Khuc banh chung, Phung spring rolls, Quan Ganh rice cakes... This area also introduces the practical process of creating typical culinary products of Hanoi and the performances of artisans introducing local traditional cuisine. Visitors will be able to interact and exchange with artisans, participate in the experience, practice the process and stages of creating traditional and unique dishes of Hanoi at traditional craft village booths.

The area introducing local cuisine is where the quintessence and uniqueness of regional cuisine and typical products of each locality are gathered, processed by artisans and chefs into unique cuisine. The international culinary area introduces typical dishes of each country and displays typical items and products of the whole country to promote opportunities for exchanging experiences and business cooperation.

The exhibition area will introduce typical domestic and international cultural, tourism and culinary images; miniature landscapes close to nature and environmentally friendly.

In addition, the Festival also has folk games, cultural exchanges, arts, cuisine; and a discussion on human resource development to serve the development of the cultural industry in the culinary field.

The festival aims to honor, preserve and promote the traditional cultural and culinary values ​​of Hanoi, build and effectively exploit the cultural, culinary and tourism brand. The event is also an opportunity to promote the image of Hanoi as a unique tourist, cultural and culinary destination to domestic and foreign visitors.
