Kim Thanh adds 25 land accumulation models

According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Thanh district, in the winter-spring crop of 2024, the whole district will have 25 more land accumulation models for rice production with about 50 hectares, bringing the total number of models in the whole district to 50 models with a total area of ​​over 300 hectares. The model with the lowest accumulated agricultural land area is 5 hectares, the highest is 40 hectares.

Kim Thanh is one of the districts with a large area of ​​agricultural land following the land accumulation model in the province. Communes with many households accumulating land to carry out concentrated rice production are Dai Duc, Kim Tan, Binh Dan, Kim Anh, Ngu Phuc, Tam Ky, Co Dung... The accumulated areas are all rented or borrowed by farmers to produce rice and grow vegetables in a concentrated manner; the application of synchronous mechanization in production has resulted in high productivity, good product quality and reduced production costs.

In 2023, 100% of the models will achieve revenue 2-3 times higher than normal production. Some typical models will have total revenue of 300-350 million VND/ha. In the 2024 winter-spring crop, Kim Thanh district will have 4,000 hectares of rice. Currently, farmers have completed sowing and transplanting the entire rice area and are actively taking care of it.
