On the afternoon of August 22, Kim Thanh district (Hai Duong) organized the announcement of the construction zoning plan for the Kim Thanh 2 industrial park, covering an area of over 500 hectares. This is the largest industrial park in the district.
The zoning plan for Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park, scale 1/2000 with a total area of 509.13 hectares, was announced by the People's Committee of Hai Duong province in Decision No. 1866/QD-UBND dated July 26, 2024.
Of which, the industrial park planning area is 437.24 hectares, the area for planning research on infrastructure connection and neighboring residential areas is 71.89 hectares.
Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park is located in Dai Duc and Tam Ky communes. This is the largest industrial park ever in Kim Thanh district.

Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park is a supporting industrial park, specializing in manufacturing supporting industrial products and providing services for manufacturing supporting industrial products, attracting investment projects in manufacturing supporting industrial products with high added value.
The industrial park has a system of convenient public social works including accommodation, commercial services, culture, sports, healthcare, green parks, etc. serving workers and laborers in the industrial park.
The main functional areas of Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park include administrative land, industrial park services; land for factories, enterprises, warehouses, planning of industrial land lots; technical infrastructure land; land for the police headquarters to ensure security and order, fire prevention and fighting, rescue and green land.
It is expected that after construction and operation, Kim Thanh 2 Industrial Park will attract large, modern enterprises from Asia and Europe to invest. Thereby meeting the demand for investment in industrial production development, accelerating the industrialization process, and creating jobs for local workers.
Up to now, Kim Thanh district has 4 industrial parks: Lai Vu, Phu Thai, Kim Thanh and Kim Thanh 2. Of which, Lai Vu and Phu Thai industrial parks have an occupancy rate of over 90%.
