Thaco has just introduced the 2024 Sonet model for the Vietnamese market, along with adding 2 more versions for Seltos.
With powerful upgrades, Kia New Sonet is expected to continue competing in the A-class urban SUV segment. This model now has a more modern design along with many additional improvements in technology, comfort, safety features and performance but still retains many traditional details of the Korean car company.
The exterior of the Kia New Sonet still has an angular, sturdy and powerful shape. Meanwhile, the car still has modern LED lights and a characteristic tiger nose, the two sides of the body are embossed for a unique effect, the 16-inch wheels also help the new Sonet have a large ground clearance. The rear of the car is equipped with an integrated spoiler and high-mounted brake lights.
The interior of the urban SUV is quite spacious with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm, along with which the driver also has a wider field of view. The rear of the car is equipped with a luggage compartment with a default capacity of 392 liters, the largest in the segment, and can be expanded when the second row of seats is folded in a 60:40 structure. In addition, the car continues to be equipped with many modern technologies, typically a 4.2-inch clock screen, a 10.25-inch touch screen entertainment screen integrated with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto...
The chassis system on the car has been slightly adjusted to increase the certainty. Along with that is the 1.5G engine for a maximum capacity of 113 horsepower at 6,300 rpm & maximum torque of 144 Nm at 4,500 rpm, combined with an 8-speed simulated CVT gearbox. Kia New Sonet is also equipped with 3 driving modes Normal/Eco/Sport/ and 3 terrain modes Snow/Mud/Sand.
Kia New Sonet is equipped with many modern driving support features such as cruise control and speed limit (Manual Speed Limit Assist - MSLA), combined with familiar safety systems such as: anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution system (EBD), electronic balance system (ESC), hill start assist system (HAC), tire pressure sensor.
In addition, Thaco also introduced 2 new versions for the New Seltos model, which are 1.5L Deluxe and 1.5 Turbo Luxury, and updated the new version 1.5L Luxury. These 3 versions target different customer groups.
To increase competitiveness, Kia New Seltos has some exclusive equipment for each new version. In which, 1.5L Deluxe has 2-zone automatic air conditioning, electronic handbrake, 10.25-inch AVN screen, tire pressure sensor. 1.5L Luxury version has 6 airbags, cruise control with speed limit feature (Manual Speed Limit Assist - MSLA). Meanwhile, 1.5 Turbo Luxury version is characterized by a powerful 1.5 turbocharged engine.
