Prosecution of former department head of Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board

On September 5, the Economic Police Department (Quang Ngai Provincial Police) prosecuted and banned Mr. Tran Minh Khoi (48 years old, residing in Nguyen Nghiem Ward, Quang Ngai City), currently residing in Binh Thanh District (Ho Chi Minh City) from leaving his residence for the act of "receiving bribes".

Mr. Khoi is the Head of Planning and Construction Management Department, Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai province.

Previously, regarding the case of "giving bribes" and "receiving bribes" that occurred at the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of Quang Ngai Province, the Investigation Police Agency prosecuted and temporarily detained Mr. Nguyen Pham Trong Nghia, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Industrial Parks of the province and Mr. Tran Thanh Nam, Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Management for the acts of "giving bribes" and "receiving bribes".

At the same time, Mr. Le The Tao (54 years old), residing in Tran Phu ward (Quang Ngai city), director of a private enterprise, was prosecuted and banned from leaving his place of residence for the act of "giving bribes".

Quang Ngai Provincial Police are continuing to investigate and expand the case and calling on related subjects to promptly surrender, denounce crimes and remedy the consequences to receive leniency.
