The inauguration ceremony demonstrates Vietnam's determination to promote rapid and sustainable growth model innovation based on science, technology and innovation.
On the morning of October 28, the inauguration ceremony of the new operating facility of the National Innovation Center (NIC) combined with the opening ceremony of the Vietnam International Innovation Exhibition 2023 (VIIE 2023) officially took place at Hoa Lac High-Tech Park.
The event is chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and organized by NIC in coordination with prestigious partners. Accordingly, VIIE 2023 will officially take place over 5 days (from October 28 to November 1) on an international scale. The event marks an important milestone in the process of building Vietnam's innovation ecosystem.

Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung shared that the inauguration ceremony is of great significance, marking the formation of a national innovation space and symbolizing Vietnam's determination to promote rapid and sustainable growth model innovation based on science, technology and innovation, building an independent and highly autonomous economy, and successfully carrying out the country's industrialization and modernization.
“The center not only connects the domestic innovation ecosystem, but also connects with the network of innovation centers in the region and the world, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position in fulfilling the mission of becoming the center of innovation in the region and the world,” said Minister Nguyen Chi Dung.
At the inauguration ceremony, the Ministry of Planning and Investment and Meta awarded the Vietnam Innovation Award 2023 to 12 outstanding solutions and honored the Top 4 best solutions participating in the Vietnam Innovation Challenge (VIC) program launched in October 2022.
Accordingly, the Top 4 solutions include Digital Transformation Platform (oneSME) of VNPT; Process Automation with Virtual Assistant (FPT akaBot) of FPT IS; Unified Enterprise Management Platform (MISA AMIS) of MISA and Energy Saving of Benkon.
