On the morning of June 22, in Cam Thuong ward, the Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited to organize a humanitarian medical examination program and provide free medicine for disadvantaged people in Hai Duong city.
At the program, 140 poor people, those in difficult circumstances, living alone, and without support, had their blood pressure measured, ultrasound, blood sugar tested, electrocardiogram tested, and health consultations done by medical staff from the Provincial Cadre Protection and Health Care Board and Hai Duong Rehabilitation Hospital. These are people who rarely get regular health check-ups.
At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 140 free medicines worth 70 million VND to the program participants.
Since the beginning of the year, the Red Cross at all levels in the province has coordinated to organize medical examinations and provide free medicine to 2,585 disadvantaged people.
In Hai Duong, Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited has 13 operating offices. For many years, this enterprise has actively participated in many activities for the community and social security.
