With a new house, the life of Mrs. Pham Thi Dia in Quan Dao village, Tan Tien commune (Gia Loc, Hai Duong) will be less difficult and her life will be more stable.
On the morning of November 20, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with relevant units to present a Red Cross house to Ms. Pham Thi Dia in Quan Dao village, Tan Tien commune (Gia Loc). This is the 12th house presented by the Provincial Red Cross Association since the beginning of the year.
The house has an area of 65 square meters, the construction cost 245 million VND, of which, through the Provincial Red Cross, Gia Loc Production and Trading Company Limited supported 50 million VND; Mrs. Dia had 70 million VND, the rest was helped by family members.
Mrs. Pham Thi Dia (59 years old), disabled, unmarried, living alone. Her old house was built a long time ago, cramped and seriously degraded.
At the house handover ceremony, the District Red Cross Society, Gia Loc District Women's Union, Tan Tien Commune People's Committee and other organizations presented many valuable gifts to her.
This is an activity to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (November 23, 1946 - November 23, 2023).
From now until the end of the year, the Provincial Red Cross will donate 2 houses to families in difficult circumstances.
