On the morning of April 15, the Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with the Chi Linh City Red Cross Association to organize first aid training for 30 officers, members, and volunteers of the Dong Lac Ward Red Cross.
This is the first first aid training course out of 20 training courses that will be organized by the Hai Duong Red Cross Society this year, with 30 people in each class.
Officials, members, and volunteers participating in first aid teams are taught and instructed online by guest lecturers from the Vietnam Red Cross Central Training Center on basic first aid knowledge for people with injuries, drowning, electric shock, etc.
From 2020-2023, the Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Society established 12 community-based first aid teams in Kim Thanh district (6 teams), Tu Ky (3 teams), Cam Giang, Binh Giang and Chi Linh city (1 team each). During this time, the teams provided first aid to about 3,000 victims of traffic accidents, work accidents, and drowning. They volunteered to help people in distress regardless of day or night, arranging their own means and necessary equipment...
