Pulling iron bars to high floors, three workers in Hai Phong were electrocuted and died.

On the morning of July 31, Hai Phong City Police said that while pulling iron bars to a high floor, three workers from Thuy Nguyen district were electrocuted, killing one and injuring two.

At nearly 8:00 a.m. the same day, the authorities of Thuy Duong commune (Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong) received information about a work accident that occurred in Bac 2 village (Thuy Duong commune).

Upon receiving the news, the Thuy Duong Commune authorities and Thuy Nguyen District Police quickly arrived to coordinate rescue efforts and investigate the cause of the incident.

At 7:30 a.m. on July 31, a group of 4 workers were constructing a 3-story house in Thuy Duong commune, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong, invested by Mr. Doan Ngoc T. (in Bac 2 village).

While a group of workers were using a winch to lift an iron bar to pour the roof of the third floor, the iron bar flew horizontally and touched a 35KV high voltage power line in front of the construction site, electrocuting three workers on the roof.

The accident caused Mr. D.KT (born in 1967, residing in Hoa Dong commune, Thuy Nguyen) to die on the spot. Mr. VVT (born in 1970, residing in Hoa Dong commune) and Mr. D.VT (born in 1980, residing in Thuy Son commune, Thuy Nguyen) were injured, of which Mr. D.VT was seriously injured.

Upon receiving news of the accident, Thuy Duong Commune authorities and Thuy Nguyen District Police quickly arrived to coordinate rescue efforts and investigate the cause.

At the scene, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force (Thuy Nguyen District Police) urgently dispatched a specialized ladder truck and related agencies to organize the emergency evacuation of the injured victims to the hospital and the bodies of the victims from the 3rd floor roof.
